WATER - proved GmbH in Frth on Course for Growth
WATER - proved GmbH has been planning and building fish farms with great success since 2011. Founder and managing director Alexander Rose and his team of 10 are operating internationally. The company is appreciated in its environment. WATER - proved is known for its professionalism, adherence to deadlines and the transparent handling of projects.
The reference list of WATER - proved GmbH is extensive and varied. We would like to present two projects very briefly.
Shrimp Farming around the Corner
The shrimp farming facility "Neue Meere" in northern Germany, which was completed in 2020, is particularly exciting. On the flat land, 700,000 shrimp cavort in a 1,000 sqm aquaculture facility. The planning, approval process and implementation took five years.
There is a lot to be said for fish and shrimp farms in one's own country. Alexander Rose: "Only a fraction of the fish consumed in Germany is actually produced here. Yet the taste of really fresh fish is incomparable. Fish that have been on ice for several days or even weeks due to long transport routes taste completely different. Just compare a fresh trout with a gilthead from the fishmonger's. You will never want to eat anything else. You will never want to eat anything else again."
Short transport routes, controlled rearing conditions and a good climate balance are further powerful arguments in favour of domestic aquacultures. The use of recirculation systems even allows tropical species such as shrimp, barramundi or yellowtail kingfish to be reared.
Aquaponics - fish farming and vegetable cultivation
A look at France: The APIVA programme (AquaPonie, Innovation Vgtale et Aquaculture), launched in 2014, focuses on the development of an integrated fish farming system and in particular on the coupling between fish farming and vegetable cultivation - called aquaponics.
So far, WATER - proved has implemented one project for this programme: an aquaponics plant for the "Lycee de la Canourgue", a school for fish farming.
Another project is already being planned and is scheduled to start in spring 2021.
WATER - proved is a modern company on a growth path that cultivates an appreciative relationship with customers, suppliers and employees. The team consists of aquaculture engineers, technical draughtsmen, project managers and business people from Germany, India and France of all ages.
